I write software for a living, mostly in elixir and typescript, and I write prose for the same reason other people run - to stay honest.

I grew up playing sport at a level where the scoreboard did the arguing, and I have never quite recovered the taste for being wrong in public. This notebook is the thing I keep on the side. It's where I connect two facts that have no business sitting next to each other.
